Abstract: I will talk about the factoriality of a nodal hypersurface in P^4. For instance, the factoriality of a nodal quartic hypersurface in P^4 is strongly related to the rationality problem. In particular, I formulate a conjecture which would answer the factoriality problem of nodal hypersurfaces in P^4; the conjecture holds for some cases.
