We introduce the notion of pseudo-tame morphisms of curves in characteristic two. Using this notion we prove that any curve over an algebraically closed field admits a morphism to the projective line which is tamely ramified
everywhere. As a corollary, we obtain an analogue of Belyi's theorem in positive characteristic. This talk is
based my joint work with Yusuke Sugiyama.
