Some results on Igusa Varieties over Function Fields
We'll discuss a local approach to understanding the geometry and cohomology of the special fibers of the moduli stacks of bounded global G-shtuka over a smooth projective curve, in a manner patterned off of the approach of Harris-Taylor and Mantovan. Along the way we'll discuss some suggestive new phenomena which occur in this function field setting.
