On November 23th 2018 Carlos Matheus Santos gave a talk "Arithmetic Kontsevich—Zorich monodromies" at the seminar of Laboratory.
Abstract:
In this talk, we will discuss a joint work with Pascal Hubert around a question of Sarnak on the presence of thin groups amongst the Kontsevich-Zorich monodromies of SL(2,R)-orbits on moduli spaces of translation surfaces.
