Seventh summer mathematical school "Algebra and Geometry", that is held by Laboratory of Algebraic Geometry was finished.

Seventh summer mathematical school "Algebra and Geometry", that is held by Laboratory of Algebraic Geometry and math faculty of HSE at Yaroslavl Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushinsky finished.  

The International Laboratory for Mirror Symmetry and Automorphic Forms took part in the organization process this year. About 80 undergraduate and graduate students from many regions of Russia and also from abroad participated in this school. Lectures were given by invited scientists from the world's leading Europe, American and Russian centers. Lectures are mostly in Russian, part of them in English. Besides lectures, communication of students with scientists plays an important role. The informal meeting of lecturers and students was organized this year.  For most of the students, this is a brilliant opportunity to identify a future area of the study. School is very popular among students so the selection of participants occurs on a strict contest. School is already known in the world that's why we find lecturers to the school easily. 

Many distinguished scientists including three Fields medalists gave lectures on our School in previous years.   

We plan to continue the tradition of our School also we plan to expand our contacts with YSPU by holding scientific conferences.
